Born and raised in the Philadelphia Area, Jessica Ruggieri began her artistic studies at an early age. Jess inherited the desire to create from her grandmother, who was also a natural at painting. Influenced by the plethora of art found in her surroundings, Jess spent her youth studying art at local schools and visiting near-by museums. After taking courses in drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and illustration, Jess was particularly drawn towards painting, due to the medium’s potential to bring to life a subject through the vibrancy and permanency of its color. Jess went to obtain her B.A. in Studio Art with a concentration in Painting at a four year liberal arts college. She now accepts commissions and sells original works. In her spare time, she continues her training in art, studying classical, realist techniques at various ateliers online.

Jessica Ruggieri nació y se crió en los alrededores de Philadelphia. A una edad temprana, comenzó sus estudios artísticos.
